| " The AYR International Senior Service Corp provides volunteer opportunities for AYR members in other countries. The Senior Service Corp is for you if you are interested in using your experience to make a difference in Y's around the world; continuing your personal growth through living and learning in another culture; developing new lasting friendships and relationships; satisfying your spirit of adventure and learning. Assignments are usually for six months. AYR provides transportation to and from the host country and the host YMCA provides great hospitality, housing, internet, and a food and transportation allowance.
